It started with a broken resume.
The AI Career OS wasn't the plan. It was the honest answer to what our users actually needed.
Chapter 1 — The tiny tool
We built a small utility to check whether a resume was recruiter-legible. Upload PDF, get feedback. That was it. Users loved it. But every conversation ended with the same question: “great, but what do I do next?”
Chapter 2 — The realisation
You can't answer “what next” without seeing the whole picture. The resume is a single frame. The career is the film. Once we saw that, we stopped building tools and started building an OS.
Chapter 3 — The six engines
We asked: what are the six moments where a career gets made or lost? The answer came fast: resume, ATS, jobs, interviews, applications, offers. Each got a dedicated engine. All six now share memory.
Chapter 4 — Design principles
- One narrative. Every screen belongs to the same story.
- Cinematic, not decorative. Motion earns its place by carrying meaning.
- Explainable everywhere. AI without a “why” is a black box, not a coach.
- Deterministic where it matters. Scoring must be reproducible.
Chapter 5 — The Beta
We could have shipped freemium tiers on day one. We didn't. Founding Members get everything, free, in exchange for shaping the roadmap. That's the only fair trade for a system that will hold your career for years.
Chapter 6 — The next chapter
Voice mock interviews. Video rehearsal. Long-term coaching. A recruiter marketplace. All on the Roadmap. All shaped by Founding Member votes.
