Practise on camera with a live AI interviewer.
Reading about interviews is not the same as answering out loud. Choose the kind of interview you want, switch on your camera and talk to an interviewer that asks the question, listens and follows up on what you said. It is the heart of Not Cooked Jobs.
The Free plan needs no payment. Video interviews come with every paid plan, including the Trial Pass (₹199 for 7 days).
Four steps, start to report.
Set it up
Choose the type of interview (behavioral, technical, HR or scenario) and pick Video. Add a target role and company if you like, set it to easy, medium or hard, and choose 3, 5, 7 or 10 questions.
Allow your camera and microphone
Your browser asks first. If you would rather not be on camera, choose a voice-only or a text interview instead.
Talk it through
The interviewer greets you, asks a question and listens. You answer out loud, the interviewer replies when you pause, and a thin answer usually gets a follow-up.
Read your report
You get an interview readiness score, scores for things like communication and answer structure, your strengths and what to practise next.
An interview that answers back.
Reading a list of questions is easy. Answering them out loud, to an interviewer that follows up on what you said, is closer to a real interview.
- Built around youThe questions are built from your own resume and from what you choose: the type of interview, the role and company if you add them, and how hard it is.
- It follows upWhen an answer is thin, the interviewer usually asks a follow-up question, the way a real interviewer would.
- A report afterwardsScores for things like communication and answer structure, your strengths and what to practise next.
- The camera is your choiceChoose video, voice only or text. A voice-only interview uses the same allowance as video, and a text interview has its own.

Hi, I'm Amara. There's no rush. Tell me about a project you're proud of, and what made it work.
Warm and conversational
An example opening line. The interviewers are AI. A real interview is live, follows up on your own answers and takes the nine interviewers in turn; the face shows when the video service is on.
How many you get.
Video interviews have their own allowance, separate from the AI actions you use for resume checks. A voice-only interview uses the same allowance.

Video interview questions.
What is a video interview on Not Cooked Jobs?
It is a practice interview with an AI interviewer. You switch on your camera, the interviewer asks a question, listens to your answer out loud and follows up on what you said. It is the heart of Not Cooked Jobs.
The questions are built from your own resume and from what you choose when you set it up. When the interview ends you get a report with an interview readiness score, your strengths and what to practise next.
Do I have to be on camera?
No. You can choose a voice-only interview, which uses the same allowance as a video interview, or a text interview, which has its own allowance. Only video interviews are recorded. In a voice interview, as in a video one, your browser turns your speech into text, and some browsers do this with a service run by the browser's maker, under its own privacy terms.
What is recorded?
Only video interviews are recorded. Text and voice interviews are not. In a video interview, if you allow your browser to use your camera and microphone, the app records your camera and microphone for the whole interview and also makes a separate audio-only copy. When the interview ends, both are uploaded to our servers. We send the audio, or the recording itself when there is no separate audio copy, to OpenAI to make a transcript. The transcript is saved in our database in encrypted form, and you can read it in your interview report.
Separately from any recording, in a voice or a video interview your browser turns your speech into text and sends us the text of your answer. Some browsers do this with a service run by the browser's maker, under its own privacy terms. A text interview uses only the text you type.
Recording files are held in the memory of our application servers, not in a permanent archive, so a recording can be lost when our servers restart or are updated. The transcript and your report are kept in our database. You can ask us to delete a recording and its transcript by writing to privacy@notcookedjobs.com. The full text is in the Privacy Policy.
How many video interviews do I get?
Each plan has its own number. Allowances are counted per calendar month (UTC, which is 05:30 IST), so a monthly or yearly plan starts again on the first day of each month while it runs:
- Free: Not included
- Trial Pass: 2 during the 7 days
- Basic Monthly: 3 a month
- Basic Yearly: 1 a month
- Premium Monthly: 4 a month
- Premium Yearly: 2 a month
Need another one before then? An extra video interview costs ₹99 on any plan. It stays in your account until you use it.
Can I try one without a paid plan?
The Free plan does not include a video interview. The ways in are an extra video interview for ₹99, which works on any plan, including Free, or the Trial Pass (₹199 for 7 days), which includes 2 video interviews and the paid tools.
The plans and prices are on the pricing page, and nothing is charged unless you choose to pay.
What do I need to start?
A resume saved in your account, because the questions are built from it. For video, a browser that lets the page use your camera and microphone. Voice and video interviews also need a browser that can turn speech into text: the interview page suggests Chrome, Edge or Safari 14.5 or later, and tells you when yours cannot, so you can choose a text interview instead.
Is the interviewer a real person?
No. The interviewer is an AI, not a person, and it speaks to you in a synthetic voice. In a video interview a face moves with the voice when our video service is available; when it is not, the interview carries on with the voice alone. It is practice and advice, not a hiring decision, and it is not connected to any employer. We never promise a job.
